Hi, I'm Jack. I moved from Austin, Texas to Latin America in 2021. I wanted an alternative way of living, immersion in a different culture, and a much cheaper cost of living so I could live better for less.

Since 2021, I've spent 3-4 months each living in:

I started Jack's World to share what I'd learned and help other people do what I did. After a few years on the ground across the region, I realized I had built up a lot of practical experience, and a lot of people were asking me the same questions. So I started writing.

We're in one of the greatest eras in history for building a remote career or business and living where you actually want to live. Never before could humans build an online career and travel simultaneously. America is still a great place to live and work, but the math has shifted, and for a lot of people, geographic arbitrage is now the difference between surviving and thriving.
